The back of property faces the Sydney Harbour with no eaves water was entering into the building through the above lintels and eroded mortar joints. Access to the property was quiet difficult with only meters to work with and arch rounded windows made the job even more difficult.
Due to poor design with rounded windows flashing overlaps every 150mm which was a big problem allowing water to enter into the cavities.
The building solution
Easipoint had to come up with a solution the facaded was pointed where necessary and painting on a clear sealer to avoid any moister entering through the out skin of brick work.
